World Languages Department

  • The Department of World Languages believes that the study of languages and cultures is essential for preparing students to thrive in an increasingly globalized interdependent world. Our mission is to provide students with a rigorous and challenging approach to studying various languages and cultures, fostering not only linguistic proficiency but also intercultural competence and cultural understanding.

We aim to engage students in meaningful conversations, enabling them to interpret and present spoken and written language. Through the use of each mode of communication, students gain insight into the perspectives, practices, and products of other cultures, broadening their worldview and deepening their appreciation for global diversity.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
